Abstract
Apple, with a net worth of $3 trillion, is a corporation operating in the information technology sector with headquarters in Cupertino, California. It is ranked 48th in the Corporate Knights 2021 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World, a yearly ranking of the 100 most sustainable public companies with revenues of over $1 billion. Our poster will research Appleās positive or negative outcomes regarding sustainability. Our research hypothesis is that their sustainability practices contributed to their business success metrics including innovation and profitability. Our team will use the case study research method to examine our hypothesis. We will collect our data from secondary sources such as company sustainability reports, annual reports, media outlets, and others. The data will be analyzed using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines, the concept of shared value, and other frameworks from our course. We will report our preliminary findings in the form of a poster presentation.
